Blair began her career at age seven in church, singing as much as possible and eventually becoming good enough to open for gospel legend Shirley Caesar by the time she was 15. Her powerful voice continued to gain her accolades and fans and by 2002, Blair was named Texas’ Female Vocalist of the Year in a statewide showcase for new talent. Her skills took her overseas where she was named the U.K.’s Greatest Voice You’ve Never Heard.

When Blair was finally persuaded by friends and family to enter the Kraft Gospel Talent Search in 2005 during the Essence Music Festival, she took home the top prize. She also appeared as an “Angel of Mercy” in the Steve Martin movie “Leap of Faith,” and is a featured performer in Donna Richardson Joyner’s “Sweating in the Spirit 2” DVD release.

Her first CD, “It’s All About Love,” went to number-one on an industry list of independently released CDs. A mother of three, Blair is currently working hard on her latest project, promising to continue spreading the message of Christ through her music.
